Characters with this skill understand the hazards of air travel, and can recognise signs of wind direction, velocity, and turbulence. They can also tell if conditions are hazardous to flying (be it in balloons, through magical means or in one of the mechanical marvels of the Dwarf engineers), and assess the level of risk with a high degree of accuracy (+10 modifier to Int tests). They understand the effects of different terrain, such as mountain passes, on air currents and wind conditions. This skill also gives a +10 modifier to all I or Dex tests, as well as any risk tests, that are required when flying.
